Banking IT PMOs

Multiple PMO roles supporting Project Managers within a banking IT environment for several global tier 1 banks we are working with in Canary Wharf.
  • Banking experience: 3+ years investment banking experience essential.
  • Functional experience: 4-5 years of strong PMO experience gained within banking IT.
  • Level: junior and intermediate PMOs.
  • Previous experience at Tier 1 investment banks plus a large IT services / consultancy company.
  • Qualifications: degree 2:1 + Prince 2 or equivalent.
  • Duration: 6 months +.

Fixed Income PMO set-up

One senior PM (possibility of contractor to permanent position for the right candidate) Plus one intermediate PM + one intermediate PMO. For a global tier 1 bank in Canary Wharf.

To set up a strategic PMO group within the Fixed Income Technology organisation. Setting up PMO functions from scratch (systems, processes, governance, tools, templates, structures, etc). An appreciation of SDLC+ will be an advantage. Must have worked with senior stakeholders.

  • Banking experience: Fixed Income experience within a technology environment is highly desirable.
  • Functional experience: 6-12 years Project Management / PMO experience in Banking IT.
  • Systems experience: SharePoint an advantage.
  • Level: 1 senior PM + 1 intermediate PM + 1 intermediate PMO.
  • Previous experience at Tier 1 investment banks plus a large IT services / consultancy company.
  • Qualifications: degree 2:1 + Prince 2 or equivalent.
  • Duration 6 months +.

IB Project Managers

Placing multiple IT Project Managers with specific experience in investment banking for several of our global tier 1 banks we are working with in Canary Wharf.

  • Banking experience: 8-12 years investment banking, asset management and private banking.
  • Functional experience: solid track record of project managing complex IT banking application development and infrastructure projects across all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Level: intermediate and senior Project Managers.
  • Previous experience at Tier 1 investment banks plus a large IT services / consultancy company.
  • Qualifications: degree 2:1 + Prince 2 or equivalent.
  • Duration 6 months +.

FX Project Manager

Project Manager to support the planning and implementation of a single position keeping system for a global tier 1 bank in Canary Wharf.

  • Banking experience: 6-12 years project management in banking IT. Knowledge of FX is a pre-requisite as is the ability to influence at all levels within the organisation.
  • Functional experience: significant PM experience including stakeholder management.
  • Systems experience: previous experience with Finacle or Wallstreet Systems’ products would be a significant advantage.
  • Level: experienced project manager.
  • Previous experience at Tier 1 investment banks plus a large IT services / consultancy company.
  • Qualifications: degree 2:1 + Prince 2 or equivalent.
  • Duration 6 months +.

Transformation Consultant

Transformation / change management consultant to work with the IT Production Support team on a transformation programme. Our client is a global tier 1 bank in Canary Wharf.

  • Banking experience: 6 years+  experience in IT transformation / change management consultancy roles within investment banking IT Production Support. Good knowledge of IB systems.
  • Functional experience: transformation and change management experience within a banking IT environment; organisational change; organisational design / development; process re-engineering; coaching.
  • Level: experienced consultant.
  • Previous experience at Tier 1 investment banks plus a large IT services / consultancy company.
  • Qualifications: degree 2:1 + Prince 2 or equivalent.
  • Duration 6 months +.
